Another Manic Mundi - All the lights out

Today's game is fairly easy. It only has 15 levels, and I was able to beat it without much difficulty. Some of the games I present on this blog I haven't beaten, so that shows how easy this game is.

Object: You are in an elevator, and your job is turn off all the lights in the hotel. The elevator moves up and down, side to side, and diagonally. There are certain rooms you will need to avoid: joker and cracked liberty bell rooms. Don't worry - they aren't hard to miss. Some rooms are locked, and you will need to get a key from another room before you go to the locked room.

To me, it was fun because it was different. Definitely a different pace. If you are looking for about 15 minutes to waste, this game fills that spot pretty well.

Pillage the Village

Here's a stupid little game that was addicting. I had to tell myself to pack it up for the night and get some sleep.

You're goal is to kill all villagers and steal their money. With their money, you can get cool upgrades, so you can kill them in even more ways. In the beginning you kill them by picking them up and dropping them violently on the ground. Later, with some of the upgrades, you can kill them other ways.

One type of villager has a parachute that you have to pop before you can drop him to the ground.




Another type of villager will climb up the side of the screen with a rope, crawl out to the center where you're money is visible and steal your money. He's the theif villager, I suppose.





And, some villagers have airplane wings so they can fly. Like the parachute, you have to disable the wings while the villager is in flight.

Space Bounty at I-Am-Bored.com

There are five weapons and health packs. You can purchase upgrades. And, the object? Shoot everything that moves, they say.

When you get to a door, you press the spacebar to move from one room to another. Some doors are locked, and you have to obtain access keys. They are in boxes that you blow up. Also, in these boxes are upgrades, money, etc ...

I found it very challenging.

Shooting Bricks in Egypt

I'm sorry if the title is misleading. You aren't actually shooting bricks ... like out of a gun. This is more of a Tetris kind of game. The levels I've played seemed pretty easy. Maybe it gets harder if you play a long time. It has gotten a little harder with each level in the time I've been playing. But, after several levels ... not near hard enough to be called challenging. I'll keep playing because in some way it seems oddly fulfilling ... mentally. I kind of like it.

Turret Wars on I-Am-Bored.com

I signed up for Google Reader a few weeks ago. "What is it?" you may ask. Well, instead of going to someone's site to read their blog, you can go to a Blog Feed Reader (such as Googe Reader) and read all of your blogs at once. You can sign up for particular blogs and so forth.

Anyway, one of the feeds I signed up for was for free online games, things to do to pass the time. Really its a time waster, but that's okay. That's what browsing the Internet is all about.

Anyway, my favorite game so far from this site is called Turret Wars. The object of the game is to protect your base from attacking enemies. If an enemy gets to your base, he explodes, damaging your base. Your base can be hit ten times, and then the game is over.

You place turrets throughout the map to blow up the oncoming enemies. But, they get stronger with each attacking wave, so you have to put more turrets and upgrade existing turrets. But, you only have so much money. It's very frustrating.

I can make it through the waves on Easy difficulty without my base being destroyed, but I usually get hit at least 6 times. It is very addictive. Give it a try. Click HERE to play Turret Wars.
